HelloHello!
Just updating to let you guys know that I'm still alive here c:
Recently i've come across some really cool communities such as iconpraise and theljprom [posting links below]. It's refreshing to see some positive comments about grapic making. And the prom thing has been featured on the front page, it's kind of like roleplaying for the really bored.
I also found out about peterphoenix under iconpraise and completely fell in love with his work.
They're really inspiring and it's really nice to see that people can make an icon look good without 1. turning it blueish-yellow 2. using that dusty-fadish texture. They're just so amazing, the cropping and brushes are lovely.

So yea, that's it. And i'm also hoping on finishing up a batch of icons i've started a while ago.

Long weekend coming up. I suppose i'll have to keep myself busy with something, might as well make it worth the time.
I decided to go with working on my lj, joining groups, making friends, uploading icons and all the fun stuff i've been too lazy to do in the past few months.
So then, I found this community that looks like a good goal for me. You have to apply to get into this community and looking through the past applications they turned down, it doesn't look as if it's going to be easy to get in. They also look into your background and past work (both of which i do not have much of in this journal) so my chances aren't that great.

Idk, I guess I can try making icons by the hundreds this weekend and maybe show em' what I can do :]

Wow lots of things to talk about today; where shall i start?
Okay, so i finished eclipse a couple days ago and i swear to god i'll spontaneously combust if i don't talk to someone about it
Here are a few of my favorite quotes from the book. Btw i posted the pages- i have the hard bound copy.
warning: these quotes won't really "spoil" the book for you but if you're really afraid of ruining the plot before you read it, i suggest you skip this :3
